That my schedule changes a lot and depending on the day, we may work in another office or even at home.

I am a real estate broker.
What are your main duties and responsibilities?
I am responsible for ensuring that I am able to market and list houses in order to sell them. I am also responsible for getting work done on time.
Why did you choose to work here?
I used to be in computer science, but once I became a mother, I wanted to do what was best for them. Real estate allows you to be at home a lot of the time and I mostly wanted to be a mother.
What skills and training are necessary for your position?
Before becoming a broker, you must become a real estate agent, which can take a couple months to do when getting your license. After you have been an agent, you can get additional training and become a broker which essentially promotes you to a manager position.
How did you acquire these skills? Through school? On the job?
I went to school for computer science so on the job.
Do you consider a career in this area satisfying? In what ways?
I wouldn't consider going into this field before college, but it can be a good career field if you have a college degree and you are settled.
